Lewis-Palmer School District will host the annual Parenting Identified Gifted and High Ability Children PK-12 on Thursday, January 28, 2010, at Creekside Middle School, 6:30-8:30 PM. Supporting Your Child Through Life's Transitions will be the topic of the keynote address. Breakout sessions will include presentations on Self-advocacy Skills, Supporting the Emotional Needs of Gifted, Girls and Math, and High School Gifted Programming. The presentations will provide information for parents of identified gifted children, and for those who are high-ability but may not have the formal identification.
